The life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are perennial source of inspiration for Ramakrishna Mission.

The ideal of the organization is: 'Atmano Mokshartham Jagad Hitaya Cha' (For one's own salvation and for the good of the world). Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Dinajpur started in 1923, is one the centre of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission with Headquarters at Belur Math, Dist. Howrah, West Bengal, India. 

The Ramakrishna Mission, Dinajpur Mission centre was started in 1990.
